Green Mobility in Oslo – From Zero to HeroOur May webinar will explore how the City of Oslo transformed its transport system from car-oriented planning to a leading example of green urban mobility in Europe—an evolution often described as a journey from ‘zero to hero’. The session will present key policies, strategies, and measures implemented to develop cycling infrastructure, improve road safety, and promote active and climate-friendly transport solutions. It will also examine the challenges faced, the approaches used to overcome them, and the outcomes achieved. Participants will gain insights into how bold, people-focused planning and long-term commitment can accelerate the transition toward more sustainable, accessible, and resilient urban mobility systems. Hosted by James Odeck, member of the AET Transport and Mobility Forum, the webinar will include a presentation by Rune Gjøs and a moderated discussion led by Barry Zondag. Speakers’ Information |
