AET Hackathon: Night-time mobility challenges and strategies
The Association for European Transport (AET) has announced the second edition of its Hackathon, set to take place on 15–16 May 2026 at Net Engineering's Rome office in Rome, Italy.
This dynamic 32-hour event will bring together a diverse group of participants - including students, researchers and industry professionals - to explore how cities function after dark, tackling inequalities in mobility, safety and access.
Focusing on night-time mobility challenges, participants will work in teams to develop innovative solutions across data, design, technology and policy - rethinking transport systems, public space and services when conditions are at their most complex.
The winning team will present their solution at the European Transport Conference and receive FREE 3-day attendance, offering valuable exposure to industry leaders and policymakers.
