Presented online this year, the European Transport Conference will maintain its unique identity of a multi-disciplinary, multi-seminar format. The organisation team has encapsulated all the excellent features of past conferences to ensure your experience is both useful and memorable.
3 days of Stimulating Sessions
With a choice of up to 10 simultaneous seminars per day, plus plenary sessions on the first and second days, registered delegates will be able to move freely between seminars – and will be able to access any sessions they miss. A key aspect of the conference is its breadth which covers the whole range of policy implications of research as well as technical details on data analyses or the design and operation of a model. Its reputation has been built on the important collaboration and knowledge transfer between research, policy and practice.
Accessible to all
Being online this year, and therefore with no need to travel to Europe, the conference becomes far more accessible to a worldwide audience. It creates an excellent opportunity to savour this great event with the added benefit of little to no impact on the environment or travel budgets.

The conference provides a superb platform for all participants to engage with transport experts from around the world and become part of a specialist community. Social chat forums will allow delegates to mingle socially and pose questions to international professionals. All registered delegates will receive a unique password to access the ETC's Socio platform, allowing for real-time updates and ensuring full social interaction during the conference.

Poster Sessions
Enter this unique area for online poster sessions presenting project ideas, concepts and theses. There will also be allocated times for questions and discussion with the posters' authors.
Publication of Papers
Quality research papers will be selected this year for special issues in high-ranked journals of Transport and Mobility sectors. The Association for European Transport believes that research papers being published online will help future progress in transport, environmental and technical areas. As such, all papers presented at ETC will be uploaded to the Association's website for delegates to access.

The Association for European Transport is responsible for the organisation of the Conference, which has been held annually since 1973. It is the Association's aim to promote and maintain a pan-European understanding of transport issues along with its members who form a network of transport professionals across Europe.
