In celebration of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, the AET Transport and Mobility Forum invites you to our FREE webinar, co-hosted with the WiMIT – Women in Mobility, Infrastructure, Transport, Italy.
The webinar focuses on the socio-economic impact of the contributions of female professionals in the field of transport, infrastructure and mobility. Daily life, backed up by literature, field research and economic studies, show us that contributions by women should be recognised more for their achievements in the development of the sector and the overall economy of European countries.
This webinar will present portraits of female experts that have devoted their careers to creating an equal and accessible transport sector. Both professional and user perspectives will be addressed at the Italian and European level.
Moderated by Claudia Carrà, the presentation will be followed by a panel discussion addressing personal experiences of the panellists and their reflections on the main topic of the webinar. The speakers will provide information on several organisations and initiatives praised for their outstanding work towards more equitable and gender-transformative mobility.
