Make the most of ETC 2017 while in Barcelona

In addition to fascinating discussions at the European Transport Conference, there are also ample opportunities to explore this fabulous city, both as a transport professional and as a tourist.

The Conference team has organised a range of technical visits and tours to help you grow your network and your knowledge of Barcelona. Places are limited and will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis so please register your interest with Sabrina Winter for the following visits:

  • Visit to TMB Control Centre - 4th October, 15 spaces.

  • Bicycle Tour of Barcelona - 4th October

  • Lunchtime Walking Tour including the exterior of Sant Pau Hospital, Gaudi Avenue and Sagrada Familia - 4th October, 25 spaces.

  • Visit to a bus interchange close to Sagrada Familia Cathedral - 5th October, 30 spaces.

  • Travel by bus (arranged by TMB) to the Port terminal for a boat trip to Prat del Llobregat with technical explanations en route - 6th October, 40 spaces.

  • Travel by metro via the Sagrera line 9 station and return to the venue - 6th October, 30 spaces.
