Philippe Perret, CitiLogik talks 'Data Collection' at tftp's Managing Transport Modellin



Philippe Perret, Associate Director at CitiLogik Ltd will be joined by Dan Tomlinson from WSP at this year's 'Managing Transport Modelling' training course run by tftp, Training for Transportation professionals.

Phillippe and Dan will be hosting one of the nine sessions on the 7th June at the WSP offices in Birmingham. Their session will focus on 'Data collection and analysis for transport modelling'. The highly experienced individuals will delve into what data needs to be collected for the modelling process along with revealing new techniques now available to the modeller.

We are very proud to have Phillippe on board for this years course and are looking forward to him shareing his industy experince and knowledge with our delegates.

Philippe is the Head of Analytics for Citi Logik, a company specialising in gaining insights on peoples’ movements by processing anonymised mobile phone data. Philippe has been working in the transport planning and modelling industry for over 15 years developing models to undertake design and appraisals for major transport schemes in the UK and overseas.

In this role Philippe was one of the first transport modellers to recognise the strong potential for use of mobile phone data to better understand trip patterns. Philippe now leads a team of analysts and data scientists who develop complex algorithms to query large volumes of data to fulfil the needs of wide range of clients including local authorities, train operating companies, airport operators or retailers.
